Overview
Visit Doi Inthanon National Park, at 2,565 meters above sea level the highest spot of Thailand. This range is a part of Himalaya mountain in Nepal. The weather is cool all year-round. On top of Doi Inthanon land with ancient rainforest, vast completely covered. That very few will experience the real nature of the country’s highest mountain. Near the top we will take a walk the Ang Ka nature trails where you can walk amongst the unique flora and forest that grow at this altitude. Doi Inthanon National Park is a Mecca for bird watchers and offers evergreen forests, impressive waterfalls, interesting flora and fauna and marvelous natural scenery. The tour continues with a visit King and Queen pagodas which were built to commemorate the fifth cycle birthdays of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. Both pagodas share similar bases as well as a two-level walking path that surrounds them. The pagodas enshrine Lord Buddha’s ashes and Buddha images, and overlook the magnificent scenery of Doi Inthanon. The tour continues with a visit to the Hmong Market and lunch at a local restaurant. Later on you will travel to Karen tribe Village (Not a Long Neck women) to see local produce and hill tribe handicraft. Upon descending, guests will stop at the beautiful Sirithan and Wachirathan waterfalls on the way down the mountain before making our way back to Chiang Mai.
